  1. དགའ།

    Biblical: be glad, rejoice: ཉིན་​མོ་​དེ་​ལ་​དགའ། rejoice in that day (Lk. 6:23), འཇིག་​རྟེན་​དགའ་​བར་​འགྱུར། the world will rejoice (Jn. 16:20), དགའ་​མཁན་​མཉམ་​དུ་​དགའ་​ཞིག rejoice with those who rejoice (Rom. 12:15).

  2. དགའ་​མགུ་​རང་​བ།

    [lit. rejoice (intensive form in classical texts)]

    Biblical: rejoice: ཁྱེད་​ཚོའི་​དོན་​དུ་​སྡུག་​བསྔལ་​མྱོང་​བ་​ལ་​ང་​དགའ་​མགུ་​རང་​ངོ་​། I rejoice in what was suffered for you (Col. 1:24), དེ་​ལ་​དགའ་​མགུ་​རང་​། in this you greatly rejoice (1 Pet. 1:6).

  3. ཡི་​རང་​།

    Biblical: rejoice: དགའ་​ཞིང་​ཡི་​རང་​བར་​གྱུར་​ཅིག rejoice and be glad (Mt. 5:12), ངའི་​ལུག་​སྟོར་​བ་​དེ་​ཐོབ་​པས། ང་​མཉམ་​དུ་​ཡི་​རངས་​ཤིག་​ཟེར་​རོ། rejoice with me, I have found my lost sheep (Lk. 10:20).

  4. སྐྱིད།

    [lit. happy]

    Biblical: rejoice: སྡུག་​བསྔལ་​བར་​རྩི་​ཡང་​རྟག་​ཏུ་​སྐྱིད། sorrowful, yet always rejoicing (2 Cor. 6:10).
